Unithetical Linguistics

A current issue in the field of translation is regarding this question that how much a translated concept and meaning of a word, sentence or phrase of destination language is bearing exactly the concept and meaning of the source one?

Although linguistics and translation sciences have been developed and grown in all branches, especially lexical one, still there is a lack of theory in which some principles and rules get provided to translate words, sentences and phrases of all languages more exactly and congenial. So the need of providing such theory in translation is obvious and necessary.

Something which is important to know is this fact that some special texts belonging to some special languages are very very difficult to translate into other languages, because realizing and understanding the concepts of such languages are very difficult and it needs some principles which is more comprehensive. One of these languages is Arabic language, the language of Holly Quran.

All of us know that Allah All Mighty inspired the suras of Holly Quran to his prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Arabic Language, and all of us know that Islam and its Holly book, Quran, are the last divine source which were inherited to us as a tradition (i.e. heritage). So it is more important to translate the statements of Allah All Mighty into other languages more exactly and with more accuracy.

Another important thing which is important to mention is the fact that everyone who is studying linguistics must finally provide a theory based on his or her knowledge of linguistics unless his or her effort doesn’t worth dedicating precious time. Therefore recently some scientists in this field have tried to provide a theory of translation based on English linguistics which is called Unithetical Linguistics.
